Crystal Clear Healing of Clear Quartz

In the enchanting world of energy healing, the marriage between crystals and Reiki has become a captivating avenue for those seeking holistic well-being. Among the myriad of crystals, Clear Quartz emerges as a radiant and versatile gem, revered for its purity and ability to amplify energy. As we embark on this exploration, let’s unravel the transformative benefits of incorporating Clear Quartz into the practice of Reiki healing.
Understanding the Essence of Clear Quartz:
Clear Quartz, often referred to as the “Master Healer,” is a crystalline mineral with a transparent or translucent appearance. Its name is derived from the Greek word “krustallos,” meaning frozen ice, reflecting the ancient belief that Clear Quartz was eternally frozen water. Renowned for its high vibrational frequency and clarity, this crystal is celebrated for its ability to enhance spiritual growth, amplify energy, and promote overall well-being.
Benefits of Combining Clear Quartz with Reiki Healing:

1. Amplifying Reiki Energy: Clear Quartz is celebrated for its unique property of amplification. When strategically placed during a Reiki session, it magnifies the healing energy, creating a more potent and expansive experience for both the practitioner and the recipient. This amplification can intensify the benefits of Reiki, promoting a deeper state of relaxation and balance.

2. Balancing and Cleansing Energies: With its purifying energy, Clear Quartz acts as a potent cleanser for stagnant or blocked energies. In Reiki healing, the crystal helps to balance the subtle energy fields, ensuring a harmonious flow of life force energy. This balancing effect contributes to a sense of rejuvenation and vitality.

3. Chakra Alignment and Activation: Clear Quartz is associated with all chakras, making it a versatile tool for chakra alignment and activation. Placing Clear Quartz on each chakra during a Reiki session facilitates a balanced energy flow throughout the entire energy system, promoting overall health and well-being.

4. Enhancing Clarity and Intuition: Just as Clear Quartz is transparent, it is believed to enhance mental clarity and intuition. In Reiki sessions, the crystal can assist both the practitioner and the recipient in gaining insights into underlying issues, fostering a deeper understanding of emotional and spiritual aspects that may require attention.

5. Strengthening the Connection to Higher Realms: Known as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, Clear Quartz aids in establishing a clear channel for spiritual guidance. Incorporating this crystal into Reiki sessions enhances the connection to higher frequencies, promoting a sense of spiritual awareness and allowing for guidance from higher sources.

6. Elevating Emotional Healing: Clear Quartz’s high vibrational frequency extends to emotional healing. In Reiki sessions, the crystal assists in releasing emotional blockages and promoting emotional balance. Its pure and uplifting energy can help individuals let go of negative emotions, paving the way for a more positive and serene emotional state.

7. Boosting the Immune System: Clear Quartz is believed to have a positive impact on the immune system. In Reiki healing, the crystal’s energy can be directed towards supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and defend against illness, contributing to overall physical well-being.

Conclusion:
As we traverse the realms of energy healing, Clear Quartz emerges as a beacon of purity and amplification. Its crystal-clear essence enhances the transformative potential of Reiki, creating a radiant symphony of healing energies. Whether you’re seeking balance, clarity, or a deeper connection to your spiritual self, Clear Quartz stands ready to guide you on a journey of holistic well-being. Embrace the crystal-clear healing power of Clear Quartz in your Reiki sessions, and let its luminous energy illuminate the path to a harmonious and rejuvenated life.

When we talk about Reiki we often speak in general terms and don’t often differentiate between Reiki the pure energy and Reiki “the system”.

This is not usually that important as we are working towards a common end which is to help ourselves and others to heal.

Whilst those that have been through their Reiki training will be aware not everyone else will. So for the benefit for everyone trying to attain better health both physical and mental here goes.

We are all familiar with the idea of you are what you eat, and we generally understand that what we consume will affect our general heath and well being.

For example on those days when I eat junk food I feel sluggish and tired and just want to eat more, I certainty don’t feel like doing any exercise.

Every now and again this is not a bad thing none of us are perfect.

But in terms of being a useful channel for Reiki it makes sense that the fitter and in better health we are, the better can can channel Reiki energy.

When we are full of heavy to digest foods our energy is much denser and so we do not channel energy as efficiently as we could.
The same goes for our general level of fitness. Again on those days I don’t exercise I feel a little more sluggish than when I do. This is a double edged sword because before we increased our energy perception we didn’t notice this as much, but now we are aware what do we do?

Like most people these days life is busy, full of distractions and demands on our time.
With these increased pressures we can really benefit all the more from a bit of time to ourselves.

The problem is we all too often use that time to sit down have a coffee and watch a bit of T.V then before you know it it’s time to jump into action again.

So what is the solution?

Well Tony Robbins always talks about “no extra time” by which he goes on to talk about stacking things so that they take up “no extra time” such as listening to an audio book whilst running on the treadmill, or reading an actual book when on the train. In this same way we can do ourselves a big favour and help both our mind and body with Yoga.

I know…. But hear me out, while we are doing our yoga which is great for building muscle strength and core stability it is also an amazing method to increase our flexibility and boosting our metabolism as well.

We also benefit from the mental calmness and focus it helps to produce.

All these benefits also make us become more aware of the foods and drinks we are consuming… which bring us neatly back to the main point…to be better channels for Reiki.

If like me you don’t have much time to spare but would still like to do something then maybe Shapeshifter Yoga: with Kris Fondran is for you.

She has an incredible website and make it clear, you don’t need  “one or two hours — just 10 minutes”! (Even the busiest professionals have time for that) is all that is needed to yield results.

If you are interested I will leave the link to Shape Shifter Yoga here for you

What are the three levels of reiki?

When I started my journey into the wonderful world of Reiki, I wasn’t sure what to expect, all I knew was, I needed to find out…
My first experience of Reiki was some months earlier when my sister gave me a reiki treatment.
I had never had anything like this before ,not even a massage and truth be told I was a little nervous.
As it turned out I needn’t have been it was a truly beautiful life changing experience that I still remember with absolute clarity after all these years.
With my first Reiki treatment completed I wanted to know more and my Sister arranged for me to meet with her Reiki master an amazing lady named Jennifer.
After I told Jennifer all about my experience and how I wanted to be able to continue on this journey of healing she told me that she had a level 1 class starting in a couple of months and I was welcome to join the class.

Without further hesitation I paid the fee in advance and eagerly waited for the weekend of my first degree to arrive.

Level 1. The First Degree (Shoden)

I have met several Reiki masters over the years and my understanding is that Reiki, as with many other practices are regarded as “healing arts” and as such have a certain amount of interpretation and intuitive adaptation.

Having said that there are many standardized elements to the proceedings which one must learn if one is to become adept at practice of Reiki.

What to expect during a Level 1 Attunement:
First of all you will learn a brief history of Reiki including an introduction to Mikao Usui the Founder of Reiki.

Level 1 is a practitioner’s first step into reiki and is open and available to anyone.
The focus during Level 1 is on opening the energy channels called chakras on a physical plane, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy, (Rei” + “Ki” = “Reiki”,”Rei” translates as “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” “universal” or “cosmic life force” and “Ki” means life energy).
This energy flows from the Divine through the crown Chakra down to the heart and hands.
Many reiki masters emphasize self-reiki as the goal of the Level 1.
This is where we can begin to heal ourselves of our past and deal with our problems such as emotional, physical and spiritual maladies.
You are strongly advised to practice your Reiki on yourself every day for at least 21 days after you attunement as this will help to strengthen your connection to the Reiki flow

Reiki Level 2: The Second Degree (Okuden)

Level 2 is where students will learn the skills to practice reiki on others and open energy channels more deeply. (This is also the point at which you can charge money for Reiki as a service).
During your level 2 attunement you will receive the symbols of this level.
There are different schools of thought on how many symbols are given to the student during level 2.
You will receive at least 3 and at most 5 Reiki symbols, each one corresponds to a specific energy. Students are expected to learn these symbols and use them to bring the universal energy of reiki into their everyday lives in practical ways.
Perhaps the most exciting of the symbols can also help people provide reiki over long distances or send healing energy wherever it may be needed in the world.
However you can also use your symbols to bless your food and drinks before consuming them and as such take in the Reiki energy making you feel more energised and balanced.

Reiki Level 3: The Third Degree (Shinpiden) & Reiki Master

For many, the Third Degree and Reiki Master are considered to be the same and the names are used interchangeably. And for a lot of people the term Reiki Master imply that there is different or better quality Reiki energies available and lets not forget that Reiki Master sounds very cool and some people love the Ego trip.

However, some Masters separate Level 3 from Reiki Master.
The Reiki Master Level is traditionally considered the teacher’s level and masters are able to walk away and attune new Reiki practitioners.
Nevertheless many don’t feel comfortable or compelled to train and attune new students and their motivation is to receive the symbols associated with the level 3 and deepen their practice.

It is worth emphasizing at this point that becoming a Reiki master represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice.

It is also considered good practice to allow a period of time to elapse between each level.
This gives the student time to practice their new skills and deepen their knowledge of each new level and enjoy each step of their journey it also help the Ego form running riot and going from novice to master in an afternoon.

Take time to enjoy your Reiki as it is a gift, use it for the good of all and the harm of none.

What is energy perception?

The honest answer to this is quite difficult to explain.

You see everyone experiences energy differently and energetic signatures tend to run along a spectrum.

I believe that we all perceive energy all the time but for the most part aren’t consciously aware of it.

For example when we are suddenly and genuinely surprised or shocked by someone jumping out on us, we not only hear the noise or see the sight but we physically respond as well.

We all know that feeling…when our blood runs cold or we get the creeps, well that is strong feeling of the sensation of energy.

Not all strong feelings are unpleasant though, perhaps we meet someone and immediately like them without knowing anything about them.

Not all energies are as strong in fact many of the energies we deal with are much more subtle and require much more practice in order to recognise them.

Start paying conscious attention to the subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) feelings you get from people, particularly new people and just relax and try to feel their energy. Perhaps some people make you feel relaxed or happy, while others may make you feel tense and anxious. Listen to your body telling you about their energy!

If you want to get better at energy perception practice regularly and practice some form of daily meditation.

If you are committed to your practice you will start to notice results quite quickly and once you do you will start to notice more and more.

First of all lets be clear about what we mean when we talk about chakras.

Chakra is the Sanskrit word meaning disk or wheel and simply refers to the energy centres in our bodies.

Many different traditions have their own version of chakras but what they have in common is that they are considered to be “energy centres”.

For our purposes we are going to concentrate on the Eastern tradition which uses the 7 main chakra system and works from your top downwards.

As with all of these things opinion varies but we are going to focus on the most commonly agreed colours and attributes but feel free to do your own research.

Why should we be concerned about our Chakras?

The short answer is that when one or more of our Chakras is out of alignment or just not working efficiently we start to feel unbalanced. We most often don’t know WHY? We feel this way, we just know we feel “out of sorts”.
Below is a very brief description of the 7 major Chakras and what they do.

Please scan through them and then we can move onto the clearing meditation.

1. Crown Chakra.

Colour associated with the crown chakra is purple/violet or white.

Located. Just above the centre of your head.

Our Crown Chakra represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually and our connection with the Divine.

2.Third Eye Chakra.

Colour associated with the third eye chakra is deep blue/Indigo.

Located. between your eyes on your forhead.

Our Third-eye chakra, influences our ability to see the big picture and connect with our psychic perception and intuition.

3. Throat Chakra.

Located. On your throat..

Colour associated with the Throat chakra is Light Blue/Turquoise.

Our Throat chakra is unsurprisingly to do with our communication centre.
This is as much about speaking our truth to ourselves as it is communicating our truth to others.

4. The Heart Chakra.

Located. At the centre of your chest slightly above where your heart is.

Colour associated with the Throat chakra is Green.

The heart chakra is considered to be a bridge between the lower chakras (which deal with earth based material energies) and the upper chakras which

( which deal with spirituality and the Divine).

5. Solar Plexus Chakra.

Colour associated with the Throat chakra is yellow/gold.

Located. Around your stomach area.

The Solar Plexus Chakra controls our ability to be confident and assertive in life (our feelings of self worth).

6. sacral chakra.

Located. Just below your navel.

Colour associated with the Sacral chakra is Orange/Deep Red.

The Sacral Chakra deals with how we relate with emotions both our own and others. The Sacral Chakra is the seat of our sexual energy and our general feeling of well being.

7. The Root Chakra.

Located. At the very base of the spine.

Colour associated with the Throat chakra is Red.

The Root Chakra is responsible for giving us the feeling of being grounded and deeply connected with the world.

It has to be said that these are by no means the only Chakras we have .

we also have energy centres in our hands and feet this is why we often feel so connected to someone when we hold hands.

However these are the most commonly referred to Chakra from the eastern tradition and so it is good to learn them off by heart.
